Safety reverse adjustments on automatic vehicle door openers can save
lives by protecting people or objects from being trapped under a closing
door.

A visual inspection
will evaluate the existing condition and serviceability of the following
points:

GARAGE:

ROOFING: leakage,
sagging, damaged tiles or shakes, aging, evidence of repair

FLOOR:
type (concrete, asphalt, dirt / earth etc.), any major or typical
cracking, poor drainage, stains, settling, surface damage

WALLS
/ CEILINGS: finished,
damaged, possible improper fire wall, water damage

VEHICLE
DOORS: inoperative
or blocked, damaged or missing locks, safety reverse adjustments
required, excessive resistance, warped or buckled, moisture damage,
loose hinge nuts, decayed door jamb, sagging

PASSAGE
DOORS: not
self-closing, warped, improper latching, improper self closer,
rubbing, inoperative locks, damaged, deteriorated weather-stripping,
not fire resistance

CENTRAL
COOLING / AIR CONDITIONING:

space, combination

ELECTRICAL:
loose connections, no disconnect, improper disconnect, breaker
rating

COMPRESSOR:
cold shell, hot shell, vibration, noisy, dirty, obstructions

noisy, loose fan belts, insecure housing and or drip pan, not level

leakage, iced-up, loose mounting, improper trap. dirty, improper

condition that may appear to impede efficiency,
cause premature failure, or pose a health or safety risk. |

If any point of a regular inspection is
concealed, or not accessible to the inspector it will not be included in
the inspection.
