A visual inspection
will evaluate the existing condition and serviceability of the following
points:

CABINETS:
type (wood, laminate etc.), moderate or heavy wear, misaligned
doors, loose hinges, damage, missing handles, decay, stains beneath sink |
|
FLOORING:
type (vinyl, ceramic, tile wood etc),
sloping or unevenness, cracking, stains, looseness, raised seams or edges,
water damage, damaged / sliced |
|
LIGHTS:
inoperative switches |
|
COUNTER:
type (laminate, wood, tile, corian
etc.), wear, damage or chipping, missing grout, poorly sealed
backsplash, water damage, burnt or raised seams |
|
OUTLETS:
reverse polarity,
ungrounded, inoperative or loose, GFCI recommended or defective |
|
RANGE
HOOD: type (direct
vent, filtered), operation of fan and light, loose or missing, noisy, old,
proper make-up air or improper venting, loose duct tape |
|
SINKS:
type (single, double
etc.), slow drainage, leaking, heavy wear, denting, chips, missing or damaged stopper, improperly plumbed, leaking taps |

GARBERETOR:
noise, vibration, poor switch
location, inoperative, wiring not sheathed, missing cutters and or splash
guard |

DISHWASHER
PLUMBING: improper
trapping, no hammer
arrestor on supply line, no water shut off |
|
GENERAL:
Any obvious immediate
condition that may appear to impede efficiency,
cause premature failure, or pose a health or safety risk. |

NOTE:
If any point of a regular inspection is
concealed, or not accessible to the inspector it will not be included in
the inspection.
